We are the class of 1976, proudly associated with Tulsa Will Rogers High School.
It really doesn't matter if you graduated with our class or not. What truly matters, is that there is a shared PRIDE for being a ROPER. We're ALL classmates and fellow ROPERS.
Enjoy your trip down memory lane!

[excerpt taken from the 1976 Lariat] …There were 1800 Ropers with 1800 different personalities. Each had different interests. Each placed his priorities in a different place. But whatever they did, whoever they met, wherever they went, they were Ropers.

Yesterday & today, Ropers are…

Athletes

Cheerleaders

Musicians and Artists

Singers, Foosball players, Racers, Cowboys, Chemists, Linguists, Writers, Outdoorsman.

It was Ropers who won the five number one positions in the Tulsa Jr. Miss Pageant, It was Ropers who were awarded two National Merit Semifinalist scholarships. It was Ropers who were a number one cheerleading squad of the 147 squads in the Southern Methodist University cheerleading Clinic.

Ropers didn't make being number one a necessity, but we always seemed to end up number one, anyway.

We are proud of the name "Americans" bet were equally proud of the name "Ropers".
